
Fentress County Schools will be offering free nutritious summer meals to all children ages 18 and under on Wednesdays and Fridays, from June 2 to June 27, 2025.
Forms will go home with students on Friday, May 15. Completed forms must be turned in to the Clarkrange HS main office by Wednesday, May 21.
Please note:
No deliveries will be made; meals must be picked up by a parent or child at the selected location.
Meal pickup times are from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on both Wednesdays and Fridays.
On Wednesdays, you will receive breakfast and lunch for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. (Wednesday Dates, June 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th)
On Fridays, you will receive breakfast and lunch for Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. (Friday Dates 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th)


Please join us this evening at Clarkrange High School for our student production of Alice in Wonderland. The play begins at 6:30. Admission is $3 for students and $7 for adults. Guests should enter at the old gym entrance.

Wednesday, April 30 is Park Day for Clarkrange High School. After attendance is taken, students will be transported via school bus to South Fentress Community Park. Students cannot drive themselves. Students should dress appropriately and consider bringing sunscreen. The icee truck will arrive around noon. Icees usually cost around $3 to $5. Regular school lunch will be provided. Students will return to school around 2:00PM.

Tonight's CHS baseball game has been canceled due to weather and will not be rescheduled. Senior Night festivities will be on Tuesday, April 29 at 4:00PM followed by the play-in game vs. Red Boiling Springs at 5:30PM.

This is a reminder that there is no school tomorrow, Friday, April 18 for the Good Friday holiday. School will resume on Monday, April 21. Students will continue EOC and SDC testing next week. Please ensure that your students are present and on time to school each day. Have a great weekend!

CHS will host 8th Grade Night this afternoon beginning with school tours at 4:30PM. The parent meeting will follow afterwards at 5:00PM in the cafeteria.

CHS 8th Grade Night has been rescheduled to Thursday, April 10. Tours will begin at 4:30PM with parent meeting to follow at 5:00PM.

Due to potential severe weather this evening, all after school activities at Clarkrange High School are cancelled. This includes 8th Grade Night as well. Make-up dates and times for cancelled events will be communicated in the near future.

Tonight's home baseball and softball games will NOT take place due to inclement weather. Make-up dates will be announced if the games are rescheduled.

Clarkrange High School Parent-Teacher Conferences will be from 3-6PM on Tuesday, 3/18 followed by the Title I meeting and ice cream social from 6-7PM in the cafeteria.

If your child has been absent and you have not sent in doctor's notes, please have your child bring those notes to Mrs. Becky Dailey's office in the library, email them to becky.dailey@fentressboe.com, or have your medical provider fax them to the school at 931.863.3981.

This is a reminder that Clarkrange Parent/Teacher Conferences are Tuesday, 2/11 from 3:00-6:00PM. Please enter the building through the main entrance.

Clarkrange High School Senior Night Festivities will begin in the gym at 4:00PM today instead of the previously communicated time of 4:30PM.

The CHS sophomore class is coordinating a food drive to support local food banks. Needed items include non-perishable and non-expired canned goods, boxed meals, and bottled water. Do not drop off frozen or other items that require refrigeration. Items can be dropped off during regular school hours through 1/10/25.

There will be an interest meeting Tuesday, 10/29 @ 5:00PM for any girl interested in playing CHS softball this year.

CHS Senior Trip paperwork must be signed, witnessed, and turned in to the main office by 3:00PM on Friday, October 25.

The Fentress County Health Department will be hosting a Flu Vaccine Clinic on Wednesday, 10/23 from 3-6PM. Interested parents or legal guardians must bring their child along with the child's current immunization record. The Health Department is located at:
