Fentress County Schools is again offering online registration for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This option is only available to returning Fentress County students in grades 1-12 and will be available starting Tuesday, July 7, 2026, through July 31, 2026. To access the application, visit www.fentressboe.com and click on Skyward in the top-right corner. Students completing their registration online will NOT need to attend school on registration day, August 3, 2026 .  All new students and any students wishing to transfer schools MUST visit the Fentress County Board of Education in person to enroll for the upcoming school year, and are not eligible for the online registration option. 

There will be in-person registration at each school on Monday, August 3rd for any returning students in grades 1-12 who do not register online. Bus transportation will be provided.

Note: All kindergarten students must register in person at their designated school on August 3rd.   All returning students in grades 1-12 do not need to register both online and in person.
