It's true "it takes a village," it was an absolute fantastic day for our summer feeding program and our community truly showed up to ensure our children were fed. We are deeply grateful for everyone that pitched in to help us today at both South Fentress and York. The participation at both sites has surpassed our initial projections, with a higher number participating. We are absolutely thrilled to see such engagement! We are actively identifying and addressing areas where we can streamline our processes and further improve the program. Don't forget summer food starts today! Pick up at South Fentress and York Elementary from 10:00-12:00. We encourage all children age 18 and under to participate. There is no cost to receive these meals and it will also benefit our school system.

Summer Learning Camp 2025 starts on Monday, June 2nd, at Allardt Elementary! We are excited to see our summer campers! ALL students who have signed up so far will be able to participate in camp. Buses will run, but if there is an issue on Monday, just bring your child to camp and we will work it out! Camp is 8:00-3:00. Doors will open promptly at 7:30 for bus and car riders.

Fentress County Schools is pleased to announce the provision of healthy and nutritious summer meals to all individuals aged 18 and under during the month of June. Participation requires the completion and submission of a registration form, which may be returned to the respective student's school or the Fentress County Board of Education office. Meal distribution will occur on Wednesdays and Fridays. Students enrolled in the Allardt summer camp will receive daily meals at the camp and will not participate in the meal pick-up at York or South Fentress. Additionally, these students will receive a three-day supply of meals on Thursdays to cover Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Consequently, please exclude these students from the registration form. Inquiries may be directed to the Fentress County Board of Education. Thank you for your cooperation. We wish you a safe and wonderful summer.

Get ready for Fentress County Summer Camp at Allardt Elementary, running from June 2nd through June 26th! This year, all camp activities will take place at the Allardt Elementary location; unfortunately, the South Fentress site will not be operating due to lower enrollment. Convenient bus transportation will be available across the county to bring students to Allardt Elementary. Interested in enriching your child's summer with learning and fun? Please fill out the Summer Learning Camp form on our district website. While we currently have a waitlist, don't hesitate to register – enrollment opportunities may arise!

We have two locations you can choose from, South Fentress or York Elementary. By attending these 3 FREE 90 minute workshops, you’ll receive over $200 worth of learning tools to help prepare your child for kindergarten. FC Schools: Field Day Update: Due to weather, today, May 5th, Kindergarten and First-Grade field days will be canceled and rescheduled for next week.
